We are a small family based business operating out of Aurora, Colorado a mere 15 minutes from Downtown Denver, Buckley Air Force Base and a quick jaunt to many local attractions.
Our team consist of the Royer and Waters family all working closely together.
Paul and Carla Royer - The husband and wife team owners behind the business.
Son Tyler Royer who handles daily operations, shipping and product testing.
Daughter Myranda and Son-in-law Jason Waters who aid with warehouse operations, packing, coordination of transportation and special events.

All warranty issues should be sent direct to the original manufacturer or factory. Day on the Range Consulting, LLC does not cover the warranty, but will be glad to assist you in facilitating warranty claims.
Buyer agrees to have any used firearm checked by a certified gunsmith prior to firing.
Buyer assumes all legality, liability and responsibility for the condition, use & security/storage of the firearm purchased.
It is your responsibility to ensure that a firearm is legal to own in your state.
Buyer certifies by purchasing a firearm from Day on the Range Consulting, LLC that he or she is legally qualified to purchase and own the firearm and that there are no state or local laws preventing ownership and that owner will utilize a trigger lock to prevent accidents.
Buyer understands that all firearms are potentially dangerous if handled improperly.
As it is a matter of record that Day on the Range Consulting, LLC has no established testing facility, Day on the Range Consulting, LLC assumes no liability for the safe functioning of any firearm sold.
Buyer must be at least 18 (long gun) or 21 (handgun) years of age to purchase any firearm. Please check with your FFL / gun transfer dealer on age requirements in your state.
Upon purchase, buyer assumes all liability and responsibility including but not limited to the usage and safe storage of the purchased firearm.
Used Firearms
The seller provides all descriptions for used items. All descriptions for used items are honest and based on actual items being offered for sale. Items being sold in this manner will be marked as such. All sales on used items are final. Photos will be provided when available. All machine guns are considered used unless otherwise noted.
General Firearm Sales
All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering. You must be 18 or older to purchase a long gun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun per ATF rules, but state and local laws may differ and you will need to check your local laws before purchasing a firearm.
All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer's box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Firearms requiring warranty work must be returned to the factory within 1 year of purchase for repair. Accessories and special order items not normally sold by our store will not be covered under warranty even if these products are part of an integrated firearms package, unless we have guaranteed the entire package in writing. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all accessories and special order items.

Consumer Data Privacy

The Credit Card Billing Information, Shipping Information, and Contact Information in our checkout process are required in order to process your order and deliver the product to you. We store some information for accounting reasons. Your information will not be shown to third parties not involved in the transaction, nor used to send you any unrequested information. The entire Checkout process is handled through a secure SSL-encrypted connection.
The Credit Card Billing Information is sent directly to our payment provider who processes your credit card transaction. The credit card information is neither recorded nor stored by us, and it can only be accessed by our payment provider. Each transaction has a very high level of security. Your credit card details are sent directly to the payment provider over a secure SSL-encrypted connection. They are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction, nor are they stored on our server.
Secure Transmission
All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) featuring 128-bit encryption. A Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate creates an encrypted link between a website and a visitor's Web browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the website and the browser remains private and secure.
Order Fulfillment
All orders are shipped promptly from our warehouse or in-store inventory within 3 - 14 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS.
Tracking numbers will be provided upon shipment of your product though.
Online Price & Description Errors
Our online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer's credit card or we will refund the money.
If an item's description contains an error such as incorrect photo, price, accessory or description and a customer makes the order, we will not process the order without first contacting the customer. If the order is mistakenly shipped, we may advise the customer to return the item in an unopened condition and we will refund the customer. By placing an order, the customer agrees that $dealerName will be the final arbiter of discrepancies in the online catalog.
Ammunition Purchases
You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations. *All ammunition sales will comply with local and state laws and will not be shipped to any restricted areas.*
Ordering
Payment Methods
For orders placed through our web site, we only accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Online order currently only accepts a single form of payment.
If you wish to place an order splitting payments on different cards, we can process these through a phone orders only.
For orders placed by phone, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
C.O.D. orders are not accepted.
Telephone Orders
We welcome telephone orders. Please call us at 720-588-DOTR (3687). Our operating hours for telephone orders are Sunday through Saturday from 9:00 AM until 8:30 PM MST.
Please leave a message if there is no answer - we are often busy with other customers, in meetings or conducting classes and it is sometimes difficult to answer the phone; we will get back to you as soon as time permits though!
Mail In Order Payments
We gladly accept mail in order payments with money orders, cashiers checks, and personal checks.
Please do not send cash through the mail.
All shipments with a mail-in order payment will be held 7 calendar days to allow funds to clear.
Stock Availability & Backorders
Product availability on our website is live. At times, if an item is out of stock or unavailable, a full refund will be issued.
Due to the volatile nature of sales and frequent changing of market values, we regret we are unable to offer a backorder selection.
International Order
Unfortunately, at this time we do not have the infrastructure to support international sales.
We are looking forward to being able to do this, but we apologize for not being able to serve you in this capacity.
Shipping Firearms, FFL's and Transfer of Ownership
Day on the Range Consulting, LLC will transfer ownership of any firearm ONLY to individuals or agencies in possession of a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL). We cannot ship firearms to individuals without a valid FFL. Please note that we will only ship to the address listed as the FFLs licensed premises.
It is your responsibility to complete all required paperwork when you pick up your purchase from your local dealer.
It is your responsibility to contact the FFL dealer.
Be aware that it is customary for your local dealer to charge a transaction fee at the time you pick up your purchase.
This transfer fee is strictly between you and your local dealer. It is your responsibility to check with your local dealer concerning any policy of this kind and concerning your obligations. By purchasing a firearm from us you acknowledge that you may have to pay your dealer a fee for transferring the gun to you.
You the buyer are responsible for forwarding a copy of the FFL and all pertinent contact information to Day on the Range Consulting, LLC. We will accept FFL documentation via Email: Proyer@dotrconsulting.com
All internet orders will be shipped FedEx Ground, FedEx Home Delivery, Fedex 2-Day, FedEx SmartPost or USPS delivery at our discretion.
All handguns are shipped via a 2-day delivery service, Fedex 2-Day depends on the delivery location
Please note that SmartPost is a collaboration between FedEx and USPS. USPS will do the finally delivery and as such, if your shipping address is not one serviced by USPS, you WILL NOT receive your order.
It will be returned and will require additional shipping charges to reship through another means or be subject to a return stocking fee.
Please ensure you have a valid Postal address for non-firearm shipments. SmartPost deliveries can take twice as long as standard FedEx ground.
Firearms normally ship within 7-10 working days after we receive/verify your payment and a copy of the Federal Firearms License, however, special orders or delays may occur due to high volume.
If you require expedited shipping, the shipping fees will be greater. You must contact us for a quote if you require expedited shipping. We do NOT ship to PO Boxes.
Damages
If you would like insurance added to your order please contact us. Day on the Range Consulting, LLC is not responsible for uninsured items lost or damaged in transit by the shipping company.
Any shortages need to be reported to us as soon as possible.
In the event of any damage or shortage, all boxes and packaging regarding that order, must be kept on hand until the problem has been resolved and any claims paid in full.

Restricted Items by Area of Residence
Due to individual municipal or state laws, we may not be able to sell or ship some items to your area.
Ultimately it is the customers responsibility to be aware of their federal, state and local laws.

States with Ammunition Restrictions: We apologize, but any states that place limits on residents to purchase ammunition, we will be unable to ship to your state. This includes but is not limited to reloading supplies such as Powders, Bullets, Cases, Primers.
Shipping Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT)
We do accept orders for hazardous materials such as reloading powders, black powder and primers, but you can only ship up to 50 pounds per box of hazardous materials (powder, primers, fuses) combined. A hazmat fee of $19.99 applies to all hazardous materials shipping. If you order contains more than 50 pounds of hazardous materials, an additional $19.99 FedEx hazard charge will be added to your order per every additional 50 pounds of hazardous material.
Ammunition and Primers will not be shipped by any expedited manner.

Pricing & Typographical Errors
All prices are subject to change without notice.
We are not responsible for typographical errors or price misprints contained on this web site or in any printed/posted ads.
All items are also for sale directly in our store as well auction sites. Items may sell out at any time and we will offer a full refund in the event an item ordered is no longer available.
Layaway payments
Anything on our website can be purchased through a layaway plan with no additional fees.
Contact us directly to setup the plan!
The terms are 25% down (minimum $50.00) and 30 days to pay the balance.
During the 30 Day Layaway period, feel free to make additional payments, or just make one final payment at the end of the term. Once payment in full is received, we will ship your item(s).
Layaways cancelled prior to 30 days are subject to at $50.00 handling fee.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL A LAYAWAY BE HELD LONGER THAN 60 DAYS.
If, after 60 days, we have not received payment in full, your Layaway Plan will automatically be canceled and any payments received will NOT be refunded.
Custom order items on a layaway cannot be changed once the deposit has been received.
Changes to in-stock products will be at the discretion of the store management.
Returns Policy
All sales are final unless there is an error on our part.
Exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis and returns or cancellations are subject to a $50.00 restocking fee or 20%, whichever is more.
If there is any reason other that a factory defect, the refund will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. We will not refund the amount of any transfer fee charged by your dealer of choice nor shipping costs.
Only the person whose name appears on the order will be allowed to take possession of the firearm and transfer will take place only after all applicable legal requirements (i.e. background check, etc.) are completed.
PURCHASER'S RESPONSIBLITIES
You are responsible for knowing the laws and regulations in your own State, County, City, etc.
If you have any questions, contact your preferred local FFL Dealer before you order.
Returns/Cancellations
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please
contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request within 10 business days of the receipt of the product. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it, offer you store credit, or offer you a refund, less 20% restocking fee, based on your original method of payment. The product must be returned within 10 business days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee in addition to the 20% restocking fee (totaling 35%) will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging.
Please note that we do not permit the return of the following products:
   1. Special orders and products that are custom configured to your specifications.
   2. Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.
   3. Firearms, once transferred to buyer.
   4. Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics and night vision equipment.
NOTE: We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you chose not to use a carrier that offers tracking and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before USPS will initiate a trace. The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.
